HI-TECH Software delivers version 9.01 of their popular HI-TECH C for MSP430
Embedded Development Tools

Alderley, Australia - HI-TECH Software has announced the release of a new
version of HI-TECH C for MSP430, including an integrated version of the HI-TIDE IDE. This
new release, based on HI-TECH Software's latest technology now offers a component rich
IDE which provides a fully-featured front end to the HI-TECH C for MSP430 .
The new HI-TECH C for MSP430 is a full featured, high quality compiler that supports all of
Texas Instruments' MSP430 line of low-power 8 bit microcontrollers. This new compiler
includes a comprehensive C library with full source code, object code linker and library
manager and a macro assembler, preprocessor and one-step driver. The HI-TECH C for
MSP430 comes with the new HI-TIDE Integrated Development Environment which includes
full project management capabilities, a flexible editor, a peripheral device wizard which
supports many common peripherals and a fast, accurate simulator. A command line driver
allows integration into third-party development environments. .
